Hello gang,
If you’ve had the pleasure of playing a rousing game of pickleball with Mary and Richie Muolo, you know how much fun they are, their good sportsmanship, their competitive spirit and love of our sport.

What you may not know is Richie is scheduled for a very demanding, complicated surgical procedure tomorrow that is likely to keep him in the hospital for a few weeks and then require months of grueling rehab. Please keep him in your prayers. Keep them both in your thoughts as Mary oversees Richie’s recovery.

Mary should be able to break away for a resumption of her on-court dominance in a few weeks. Of course, when you see her on the other side of the net, remember to hit her backhand low and with pace at the kitchen line…
